The Fiordo di Furore hides where a mountain stream once cut down to the sea, a thin strip of beach under an old stone bridge, the water rushing in and out between sheer cliffs. It is one of the few places on this coast that feels wild rather than gentle, the old fishermen's houses still clinging to the rock.
