La Fontelina lies at the foot of the Faraglioni on Capri, the three great rocks that rise off the island's edge. No road reaches it, only a footpath down the cliff and a boat back, and the water there is the clearest turquoise on the whole coast. Small white conch shells strung close to the collarbone hold that bright, salt-washed simplicity. A piece for the swim before a long lunch on the rocks.
