The range mixes materials on purpose. Our waterproof line is stainless steel with 18k gold PVD, genuinely tarnish-free and happy in the sea or the shower. Many other styles are gold-plated, lovely for daily wear and best kept away from water so the finish stays bright.

Which earrings are waterproof?
The waterproof pieces are our stainless steel styles with 18k gold PVD, made from 316L surgical steel. These stay tarnish-free in water. Gold-plated earrings are not waterproof, so keep them dry, wipe them gently after wear and store them away from moisture.
Are these earrings suitable for sensitive ears?
Yes. Our earrings are hypoallergenic and designed to sit comfortably against the skin, so they suit most sensitive ears. If you know your skin is reactive, the waterproof steel styles are an especially easy place to start.
